About The Position

Vanguard is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the strategic vision and roadmap for Corporate Actions Products supporting middle office operations. This role is ideal for candidates with deep experience in corporate actions processing, including dividends, mergers, reorganizations, and entitlements. You’ll collaborate across business and technology teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions that support Vanguard’s investment operations.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • Minimum of eight years related business experience.
  • Hands-on experience with corporate actions processing and middle office workflows.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable, well-integrated product solutions that support operational goals.
  • Strategic approach with a focus on continuous improvement, product performance, and user experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Three years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical product strategy and delivery for middle office operations, with a focus on corporate actions lifecycle management.
  • Oversee one or more strategic products with cross-divisional impact, driving solution design and continuous improvement.
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create standard methodologies that drive significant change to the client experience.
  • Ensure business outcomes are linked to business case drivers.
  • Coach technical product teams toward best practices and learnings.
  • Oversee product teams' support of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Facilitate strong business support by working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions, impacts, and client propositions.
  • Drive connection across all appropriate internal and external collaborators.
  • Own the planning, development, and implementation of strategic technical products with cross-divisional impact, specifically supporting corporate actions workflows such as event capture, entitlement calculations, and downstream processing.
  • Define product requirements, analyze technical markets, and lead implementation efforts to deliver scalable, integrated solutions.
  • Influence and employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participate in and influence ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Drive the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
