About The Position

At PepsiCo eCommerce team, we are building the next generation of innovative products using emerging technologies and design thinking. While tied closely to broader PepsiCo, the eCommerce group has a unique start-up feel and defined values that embrace a more entrepreneurial mindset: bias for action; results oriented; community-focused; prioritization of people. We plan to use the latest technologies and tools to build Direct to Consumer digital retail experiences, cross functional automation products and experiment with digital innovation like voice commerce. We're looking for a versatile Product Manager who brings along fresh ideas from all areas, including building customer facing digital experiences, agile product development as well as building products leveraging emerging technology

Requirements

  • A BA/BS in technical or related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in product management with at least 6 years of experience product-managing machine learning teams
  • Experience managing products across the data science lifecycle, developing roadmaps, and integrating ML-driven components into applications
  • Proven track record of developing user stories or product requirement documents (PRDs)
  • Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives simultaneously while driving measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep understanding of how machine learning and artificial intelligence generate strategic value throughout the enterprise
  • Exceptional communicator who can translate complex ML concepts and system trade-offs into actionable business language for diverse audiences
  • Strong cross-functional leadership with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders to work towards a shared vision

  • Extra points if you’ve built ML products in e-Commerce or other high-volume data environments

Responsibilities

  • Champion alignment on ML priorities, fostering collaboration among business and technical teams to maximize adoption and value realization
  • Develop and manage the Product Strategy and roadmap for ML-driven performance attribution, optimization and Generative AI initiatives through a deep understanding of business goals.
  • Define and prioritize ML capabilities, infrastructure and tooling to accelerate model development, deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Partner with Data Science, Data Engineering, Application Engineering and Design to deliver high-impact models and ML-driven components for internal applications.
  • Establish standards for model governance and experimentation to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and compliance.
  • Guide MLOps strategy across training, versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD pipeline to streamline delivery and improve model reproducibility.

Benefits

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $140,100 - $234,850.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
