Department Overview
This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Infrastructure & Operations team (GTIO), where our mission is to deliver modern and relevant technology that supports the way McDonald’s works. We offer outstanding foundational technology products and services such as Global Networking, Cloud, End User Computing, and IT Service Management! It’s our goal to always provide an engaging, relevant, and simple experience for our customers.

 Reporting to the GTIO Senior Director, Technology Deployment, they will anticipate and lead the strategic and tactical needs for GTIO while leading all aspects of the translation of business needs into effective IT processes and technical solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of Technology Deployment to play a key part in defining best practice whilst leading initiatives like Edge and GRNT from delivery to deployment across our restaurant technology platform, which provides the standard foundation for business applications and services to run in the McDonald’s ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing every element of Edge & GRNT deployment and market readiness.
• Assisting in defining Definition of Ready and Definition of Done and enforcing entrance & Exit/Success criteria for all phases of development, testing and deployment, pilot, and production rollout.
• Defining and managing process for blocking issue and ongoing backlog management within the Readiness & Deployment team.
• Presenting project plans and timelines to segment, markets, and leadership committees.
• Working with cross functional teams across product engineering and tech operations to understand business needs and their best practices.
• Maintaining project status reporting.
• Being the liaison between segment, market and global technology team. Relaying information and feedback to global technology to help improve products.
• Compiling historical data to confirm current team performance & forecasting upcoming efforts.
• Leading daily/weekly Project status review sessions.
• Promoting team empowerment by ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project with important contributions/outcomes.
• Managing vendor teams and align on key deliverables with strategic partners.
