About The Position

Join the team leading the next evolution of virtual care. At Teladoc Health, you are empowered to bring your true self to work while helping millions of people live their healthiest lives. Here you will be part of a high-performance culture where colleagues embrace challenges, drive transformative solutions, and create opportunities for growth. Together, we’re transforming how better health happens. Summary of Position You’ll own the product direction for the foundational systems that every Teladoc Health member and product team depends on. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and consumer product — you think in systems, speak fluently with senior engineers and architects, and understand that great platform work is invisible to members and indispensable to the teams building on top of it. You bring deep experience across mobile and web platform ecosystems, a strong point of view on developer experience and velocity, and the stakeholder fluency to represent platform priorities credibly against competing business demands. You thrive in technically complex, high-ambiguity environments and know how to make hard infrastructure tradeoffs legible to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience, with deep expertise in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling domains.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile platform development (iOS and Android ecosystems) and web platform engineering, including build systems, app architecture, performance optimization, and release infrastructure.
  • Experience owning or contributing to developer-facing products such as design systems, feature flagging platforms, CI/CD tooling, or internal SDKs; strong instincts for what makes a great developer experience.
  • Deep familiarity with observability, analytics instrumentation, and performance monitoring: able to define standards, evaluate tooling, and work alongside engineering to operationalize them.
  • Strong technical fluency: able to engage substantively in architecture discussions, evaluate build vs. buy tradeoffs, and hold your own with principal engineers and engineering leadership.
  • Proven ability to make the case for platform investment in roadmap environments that prioritize product feature work: including connecting platform health to business outcomes and developer velocity metrics.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations without formal authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to translate technical complexity into clear narratives for executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable operating with high autonomy in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where standards and processes often need to be built from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Own the platform roadmap: define and sequence investments across mobile platform, web platform, design system, and their supporting capabilities — with clear rationale for prioritization and explicit connection to developer velocity, member experience quality, and business outcomes.
  • Drive technical strategy in partnership with engineering: operate as a peer to senior engineers and architects, shaping long-term platform direction with a grounded point of view on architecture tradeoffs, platform modernization, and the decisions that compound over time into either accelerated product velocity or compounding technical debt, ensuring platform investments are sequenced to maximize impact on product engineering teams.
  • Champion developer experience: treat internal engineering teams as your customers: build feedback loops, measure developer velocity, and prioritize work that reduces friction, accelerates feature delivery, and improves platform reliability across teams.
  • Own the design system product: partner with design and engineering to evolve a scalable, accessible component library that raises the bar on UX consistency and accelerates cross-team delivery without creating bottlenecks.
  • Lead feature flagging and experimentation infrastructure: define the strategy and capabilities for how Teladoc Health safely tests, rolls out, and rolls back features at scale, enabling a high-velocity experimentation culture across consumer product teams.
  • Build and own observability and performance frameworks: define what “healthy” looks like for mobile and web products, establish performance budgets and alerting standards, and ensure engineering teams have the instrumentation they need to ship with confidence.
  • Navigate complex cross-functional stakeholders: align platform investments with the priorities of consumer product, clinical, engineering leadership, and finance, making the case for foundational work in a roadmap environment that often favors visible features.
  • Communicate with clarity and conviction: translate deep technical complexity into business-relevant narratives for senior leadership, and represent platform constraints and opportunities with credibility in strategic planning conversations.

Benefits

  • In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026.
  • We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time.
