ROLE OVERVIEW Bethlehem Construction is seeking a Technical Precast Sales Representative to join the team.

Requirements

  • Must have minimum (3+) years of large-mid size construction precast sales experience.
  • Associate's Degree (2 years) or equivalent combination of experience/training is needed.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft, Bluebeam, Sage 300CRE, and AutoCAD software.
  • Must be familiar with lead generation software.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Must be able to effectively present estimates to all levels of the Bethlehem Construction Management Team, as well as prepare presentations for the client.
  • Must understand Construction Safety Requirements and Compliance, and be a Safety Advocate for Bethlehem Construction, Inc.
  • Must have legal capacity to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • All employees must follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe work environment and the production of high-quality products.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Proactively develop and nurture new customer relationships and project opportunities within a targeted sales territory, driving growth and expansion.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of potential opportunities to ensure they are strategically aligned with business objectives and responsive to customer needs.
  • Identify and leverage significant market opportunities for innovative products and services based on deep insights into customer preferences, maximizing Bethlehem's profitability potential.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets while collaborating effectively with the Sales Manager to optimize margin offerings.
  • Ensure all proposals are meticulously accurate and compelling, clearly articulating the scope, terms, pricing, and associated conditions to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor and report on market dynamics and trends, including competitive analyses of CIP, tilt-up, block and brick, and other precast solutions, positioning Bethlehem as a market leader.
  • Spearhead impactful regional marketing initiatives monthly, including engaging lunch and learns, strategic trade shows, and persuasive sales presentations.
  • Oversee the design, build, development, and negotiation of projects with Owners, Architects, and General Contractors, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Diligently track and report on project activities through Bethlehem’s CRM system, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Represent Bethlehem with professionalism and expertise on bid day for hard bid offerings, held bi-monthly, showcasing the company's commitment to excellence.
  • Guarantee all necessary documentation is in place before transitioning project management responsibilities to the assigned Project Manager, ensuring a seamless handover.
  • Maintain proactive and consistent communication while soliciting valuable input from all relevant stakeholders, ensuring that proposal offerings are comprehensive and well understood.
  • Engage daily with colleagues, management, customers, federal and state agencies, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
