About The Position

Maleda Tech is seeking a Technical Platform Manager, AI & People Technology to help shape the next generation of employee experience through intelligent, AI-powered solutions. This is a highly hands-on builder role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product strategy, engineering thinking, and people technology. You will translate complex HR and employee workflow challenges into scalable, testable products — building rapid prototypes, evaluating emerging AI tools, and bringing practical innovation into real business workflows. You’ll work cross-functionally with HR, technology, legal, and security partners to design and validate AI-driven solutions that enhance clarity, efficiency, and impact across internal systems. This role requires both technical fluency and strong product storytelling skills — the ability to build quickly, test thoughtfully, and communicate clearly.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including hands-on experience building AI/ML-powered tools or platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to scope, prototype, and ship solutions using LLMs, automation tools, or web-based technologies
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, people operations, or organizational strategy (performance, recruiting, planning, people analytics, etc.)
  • Experience translating cross-functional requirements into delivered, measurable outcomes
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to define metrics and assess impact
  • Technically fluent and comfortable building scrappy prototypes (basic scripting, prompt chaining, low-code tools)
  • Experience with AI development frameworks (e.g., LangChain, vector databases, LLM integrations) or ability to ramp quickly
  • Familiarity with knowledge management systems, HR platforms, and enterprise workflow tools
  • Experience supporting internal stakeholders in complex organizational environments
  • Strong visual and narrative communication skills (e.g., Miro, Figma, presentation development)
  • Systems thinker with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Translate employee and manager workflows into tangible product opportunities
  • Build and test working prototypes (e.g., agent-based flows, lightweight applications, embedded LLM tools) independently or with light engineering support
  • Define requirements for integrations across HR and enterprise systems (e.g., HCM, recruiting, survey, knowledge, planning tools)
  • Lead stakeholder discovery sessions to uncover automation and AI opportunities
  • Evaluate third-party AI tools and determine build vs. buy pathways
  • Design and launch rapid pilots across areas such as decision support, communications, knowledge management, and workforce planning
  • Define success metrics, measure impact, and create feedback loops for iteration
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, actionable narratives for business stakeholders
  • Partner with Legal and Information Security to ensure solutions align with privacy, security, and ethical standards
  • Contribute to evolving long-term AI strategy within employee technology ecosystems
