Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a technical lead for a potential opportunity. In this position, you will assist in the Discovery Phase activities of gathering user requirements, business analysis, legacy system analysis, Epic/Story creation, external data integration planning, and product backlog management. Define and maintain the enterprise solution architecture across cloud, application, data, and security domains. Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for AWS GovCloud, microservices, and DevSecOps. Lead technical roadmaps supporting system modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives. Architect and govern secure, highly available, and resilient cloud solutions using AWS GovCloud (US). Oversee designs utilizing services such as: VPC, Transit Gateway, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, ECS/EKS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, EFS. Define multi-account strategies, network segmentation, identity federation, and cross-domain architectures. Ensure solutions align with the AWS “Well-Architected Framework” and federal security baselines. Define and oversee DevSecOps pipelines, integrating security, testing, and compliance into CI/CD workflows. Ensure CI/CD pipelines support: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), Automated testing and security scanning (SAST, DAST, IaC scanning), Artifact management and versioning. Promote “shift-left” security and automation aligned with continuous ATO (cATO) objectives. Ensure solutions meet: NIST RMF (800-37, 800-53 Rev 5), FedRAMP Moderate / High, FISMA, DoD Cloud Computing SRG Create, Review, and Approve: Architecture design documents, System diagrams, Security artifacts, and technical implementation plans.
