Technical Internship (Data/ Web)
About The Position
Rhombus Power, Inc. delivers AI-powered predictive intelligence in real time for defense and national security organizations worldwide, transforming strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making with products like Ambient AI and Guardian. The company aims to empower a shift from reactive analysis to proactive, predictive intelligence. This technical internship for Summer 2026 is available in Palo Alto and Washington, DC offices. Interns will apply AI to pressing challenges, supporting activities such as data analysis, research projects, data modeling, and data cleaning. Successful candidates should possess careful attention, a systems thinking mindset, and clear communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Interns will primarily support Data Scientists, Sr. Analysts, and the AI/ML team. The internship is paid and will follow a 12-week timeline.
Requirements
- Working toward a college degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or relevant field
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative, work independently, and in a team environment
- Exemplify strong attention to detail
- Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office
- At least in process of obtaining a BA/BS or MA/MS degree
Responsibilities
- Support various research projects and collect relevant information
- Support data curation, analysis, cleaning, and quantitative modeling
- Help in the classification of open-source data sets
