About The Position

KBR’s Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. We are seeking a Technical Intern to support our operations in Lexingonton Park, MD.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in Southern Maryland, pursuing a BS in Computer Science.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship experience.
• Experience with data streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research projects, data entry, reporting, and office administration tasks.
• Support day-to-day operations and provide status updates upon request.
• Conduct research on various topics and gather relevant information for project needs.
• Assist with creative projects and data-gathering for reports using Excel, Publisher, and other software.
• Prepare and assist with presentations and project briefings.
• Document processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Perform photocopying, scanning, and filing of documents.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across tasks.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as required.
