In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a Technical Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Modeling & Simulation to join a team of quantitative analysts and modelers dedicated to conduct modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of emerging concepts for the Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency (DARPA) using advanced MS&A techniques and tools and to support further enhancement thereof. This role is at the nexus of defense intelligence, military systems analysis, and computational modeling, enabling high-fidelity representations of real-world forces, capabilities, and behaviors. The candidate will: Support the collection, curation, validation, and structuring of information and/or technical intelligence related to US, allied, and adversary military organizations, systems, and equipment for use in advanced analytical, simulation, and AI-supported environments. Collect, curate, and maintain authoritative datasets describing military organizations, force structures, platforms, weapons systems, sensors, C2 architectures, and operational capabilities across U.S., allied, and adversary forces. Translate data from OSINT, IC reporting, foreign military studies, technical assessments, and technical military system and organizational materials into structured, model-ready formats. Define system attributes, performance parameters, constraints, and behaviors relevant to mission- and engagement-level simulations. Ensure intelligence data is traceable, validated, and annotated for use in modeling and simulation environments. Support the development of taxonomies, ontologies, and schemas for representing military entities and interactions. Advise on assumptions, uncertainties, and intelligence gaps that affect simulation outcomes. Provide expert input on threat evolution, emerging military technologies, and future force concepts. Brief program leadership, DARPA PMs, and government stakeholders on intelligence-driven insights and modeling implications. Contribute to white papers, technical reports, and program deliverables.
