About The Position

We are looking for a Technical Inside Sales Specialist with strong technical expertise and a customer-first mindset to support our Engineered-To-Order (ETO) product lines across IEC/NEC markets. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams-translating complex technical requirements into precise, value-driven quotations and solutions. Your work will ensure that each custom order meets international compliance standards, drives customer satisfaction, and contributes to the success of our industrial automation portfolio.

Requirements

  • 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex electrical products.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written (English).
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or related roles (engineering, quotations, or technical support).
  • Working knowledge of NEC, IECEx, and ATEX standards.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: o Marketing or Pricing Management o Quotations or Engineering Support o Customer or Technical Support
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
  • Experience with hazardous area products is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate, timely quotations for Engineered-To-Order (ETO) products based on customer RFQs.
  • Serve as the primary technical sales contact, offering expert guidance and detailed product recommendations.
  • Manage ETO orders from quotation through fulfillment, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Interpret and apply customer electrical specifications to meet IECEx, ATEX, and NEC standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, pricing, manufacturing, and customer support teams to deliver competitive, on-time proposals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication, technical insight, and proactive follow-up.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for ETO quoting, workflows, and customer experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date data and documentation within CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, Vendavo).
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction, product alignment, and long-term relationships.
