About The Position

The Technical Implementation Consultant, Workforce AI focuses on designing and delivering scalable customer solutions during implementation, with a strong emphasis on data, integrations, and system behavior. Acting as a bridge between customers, implementation teams, and engineering, the consultant guides solution design decisions, validates data flows, and ensures integrations are reliable and aligned with business needs. The role requires strong analytical skills, SQL-based data investigation, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance. While not a coding role, it plays a critical part in shaping how solutions are implemented, improving delivery processes, and driving successful customer outcomes in a fast-moving environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in implementation consulting, solution consulting, technical consulting, systems analysis, or a similar role within a SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to connect business needs, system behavior, and data
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data investigation and analysis
  • Experience supporting integrations, including iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato) and/or SFTP file‑based data exchanges
  • Experience validating, interpreting, and troubleshooting customer data
  • Comfort engaging directly with customers in a consulting or advisory capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, early‑stage, or evolving environments
  • Experience working closely with Engineering teams without serving in a formal developer role
  • Familiarity with implementation, onboarding, or professional services organizations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with UKG / Kronos (Pro WFM, Dimensions, or Workforce Central) in an implementation, solution consulting, integration, or system administration role
  • Healthcare workforce management or HCM experience
  • Prior involvement in solution design for complex implementations involving integrations and data‑heavy workflows

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers during implementation to design solutions that meet business requirements while aligning with platform capabilities and best practices
  • Act as a customer‑facing consultant, leading technical and solution‑oriented discussions and helping customers understand design tradeoffs, constraints, and options
  • Translate customer operational needs—particularly within healthcare workforce management—into clear solution recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout implementation, helping customers understand how configuration, data, and integrations impact outcomes
  • Support internal teams by providing guidance on recommended solution patterns and design decisions
  • Develop a strong understanding of how data flows through the platform, including backend data structures, key system relationships, and processing logic
  • Use SQL querying to investigate data, validate assumptions, troubleshoot issues, and support implementation decisions (no application coding required)
  • Analyze inbound customer files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with solution and business requirements
  • Identify data quality issues, edge cases, and inconsistencies, and recommend appropriate resolutions
  • Evaluate how data structure and configuration choices affect downstream application behavior and customer experience
  • Support complex customer integrations, including iPaaS workflows (e.g., Workato) and file‑based integrations (SFTP)
  • Review and validate file formats, data mappings, schedules, and integration logic to ensure reliable, scalable data exchange
  • Partner closely with Engineering to clarify requirements, validate outcomes, and troubleshoot integration‑related issues without owning code development
  • Assist with integration testing, go‑live support, and post‑implementation troubleshooting
  • Help identify scalable and repeatable integration patterns across customers
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for customers and internal implementation team members
  • Contribute to implementation documentation, solution design guidelines, data validation standards, and best practices
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation leadership to surface risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Provide feedback on recurring customer challenges to influence product enhancements and process improvements
