About The Position

Technical Editors play a critical role in the success of our project and marketing teams, directly reflecting Anchor QEA’s commitment to exceptional client service and high-quality products. Our editorial team thrives in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment, routinely working with subject matter experts on a variety of technical content, such as scientific reports, engineering specifications, marketing proposals, and client presentations. If you work well independently and enjoy working with language, we would love to hear from you. Tasks will be assigned by a senior Technical Editor. The schedule and budget will be communicated before a task is assigned to determine if the task will be a good fit with your availability on a given week. Anchor QEA does not guarantee a certain number of hours of work per week. You and your manager will communicate at the beginning of each week to determine available workload from Anchor QEA, as well as your availability for the week. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of professional editing experience in a technical field
  • Superior time management skills, detail-oriented, and demonstrated ability to complete assignments on time and within budget
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical editing of project deliverables and marketing materials.
  • Ensure work products adhere to company brand and quality standards.
