The Technical Documentation Specialist will assist and support the Quality Engineers by providing First Article Inspection (FAI) and Bills of Materials (BOM) review process to assist the quality organization. This person will monitor processes, component and product quality problems and escalate to the supervisor as needed. This person will also gather documentation like certifications and Certificates of Conformance (CFCs) to ensure print compliance. This position is mainly desk-based, involving a lot of documentation work to centralize information before a Quality Engineer approves it. Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Performs and reports in process and product first layer assessment. Performs activities identified related to the Key process and product characteristics. Ensures that the implemented changes and corrective action to rectify non-conformance issues are respected in the manufacturing line. Performs First Article Assessment activities. Supports internal, industry and customer audits as required. Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
