About The Position

The Technical Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring that application development and technical delivery work across Entrega’s delivery ecosystem is sequenced correctly, integrated cleanly, and executed predictably. This role serves as the single integration gateway between Service Delivery leadership and technical delivery teams, coordinating work across multiple technical workstreams to protect delivery commitments and reduce execution risk. This is not a Project Manager or Program Manager role. The Technical Delivery Lead does not own scope, budget, schedule, solution design, or coding. Instead, this role brings strong technical delivery fluency to integrate dependencies, validate feasibility, and ensure work flows smoothly across engineering, platform, QA, and release functions.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage credibly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage complexity across multiple technical workstreams.
  • Ability to influence outcomes without formal authority.
  • Comfortable operating in delivery-critical environments with competing priorities.
  • Calm, systems-oriented approach to problem solving; values predictability over heroics.
  • Professional demeanor with high integrity and credibility across engineering and delivery teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (technical or engineering-adjacent background strongly preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in technical delivery environments such as: Application development Platform or systems delivery Technical consulting or delivery leadership roles
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or mixed delivery models.
  • Experience working with delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in roles such as: Technical Delivery Lead Engineering Manager (delivery-focused) Senior Technical Consultant Technical Project Manager who has moved away from direct project ownership

  • Translate delivery intent into clear, executable sequencing that ensures the right technical capabilities are engaged at the right time.
  • Identify dependency risks and sequencing gaps before they impact delivery outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Technical Collaboration Partner closely with Service Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and technical delivery teams to align workstreams and ensure clean, visible handoffs.
  • Act as the primary integration point across technical functions without assuming delivery ownership.
  • Technical Fluency & Feasibility Bring sufficient technical delivery fluency to pressure-test plans for: Architecture readiness Integration complexity Team capacity and constraints Non-obvious execution risks Advise on technical tradeoffs and sequencing implications without owning design decisions.
  • Production Flow & Predictability Reduce delivery friction by identifying bottlenecks, idle time, and execution thrash.
  • Support consistent delivery cadence and predictable outcomes across multiple technical workstreams.
  • Risk Identification & Escalation Anticipate, track, and escalate risks related to technical sequencing, integration, or feasibility early.
  • Escalate through Service Delivery Operations, not directly to clients.
  • Facilitation & Communication Facilitate delivery alignment sessions as needed to maintain clarity, sequencing discipline, and accountability across technical teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve technical delivery integration and execution predictability without introducing unnecessary process or bureaucracy.
