A Technical Sales and Service Coordinator provides day-to-day support of customer accounts and serves as a primary point of contact between the customer and the company. The Technical Sales and Service Coordinator can provide customer support, technical support, planning and optimization for the accounts, as well as developing a relationship with the customers. Takes incoming calls from customers, determines which product or service fits the application, and quotes the customer. Follows up with customers after quoting to obtain feedback, answer questions, and obtain purchase orders. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s Degree and at least one year equivalent work experience in sales required (inside or technical sales preferred).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English.
  • At least one year equivalent work experience in sales required (inside or technical sales preferred).
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Good understanding of business mathematical concepts.
  • Extensive knowledge of company systems and software.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze customer requirements to determine which product will be the best fit.
  • Create customer proposals in compliance with company standards and contract language.
  • Prepare configurations, equipment lists, clarifications and exceptions for use by other departments such as engineering, sales, estimating, manufacturing, etc.
  • Act as customer contact regarding product quotations and complex pricing, scheduling and shipping and makes pricing decisions.
  • Coordinate expediting activities with other departments to assure accuracy in pricing, delivery, invoicing, etc.
  • Enter orders into the system for customers.
  • Make pricing decisions based on previous standards regularly and customarily.
  • Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company, as well as suppliers, customers and peers effectively.
  • Comply with policies, procedures, standards and rules of the Company.
  • Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
  • Maintain work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
  • Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
