Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on developer documentation (e.g., APIs, SDKs, tutorials).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Learn or equivalent documentation standards.
• Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
• Proficiency in Markdown, GitHub, and documentation management tools.
• Excellent English writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work in PST time zone.
• Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Background in software development or programming (e.g., REST APIs, JSON, scripting).
• Experience using AI tools to assist in documentation creation.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop developer-focused documentation, including API references, tutorials, and Microsoft Learn content.
• Review and refine AI-generated drafts to ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and compliance with documentation standards.
• Work closely with program managers and subject matter experts to gather technical insights and translate them into structured, user-friendly content.
• Contribute to documentation framework design and enhance overall user experience.
• Maintain consistency in structure, tone, and style across all deliverables.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• A competitive pay range of $90,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience).
