About The Position

Multiple full-time professional positions headquartered in Reston, VA with relocation to unanticipated project sites within the US. Duties: • Lead the end-to-end development and customization of a Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) tool to meet specific client requirements within the Telecom domain. • Act as the primary technical point of contact at the client location, managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. • Conduct comprehensive requirement gathering and analysis sessions with business stakeholders to define both functional and technical specifications. • Design robust, scalable, and maintainable architectures using expertise in Java, AWS, and Telecom frameworks to address evolving business needs. • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance. • Coordinate and manage tasks between onshore and offshore development teams, ensuring seamless collaboration, knowledge transfer, and consistent code quality. • Utilize CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline deployment processes and boost operational efficiency across development environments. • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot complex production issues, and implement fixes to ensure system stability and a high-quality user experience. • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and a culture of continuous improvement. • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and project-specific quality assurance protocols throughout the development process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering field and 2 years of experience in the offered position or in a related Computer Systems Engineer/Architect position.
  • Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable.
  • 2 years of verifiable experience performing software development duties employing the following tools and technologies: • Telcom Domain Expertise (OSS/BSS) • Oracle OSM • XQuery • AWS • Java - Spring Boot • Microservices Architecture • Camunda • Apache Kafka / RabbitMQ
