  • Proven track record of driving outcomes in regulated or compliance-heavy industries (government, defense, or public sector experience a plus)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
  • Prior experience at a Big Four firm (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or Booz Allen Hamilton strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in consulting methodologies, structured problem-solving, and delivering enterprise-scale technology projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • U.S. citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for enterprise systems, platforms, and integrations.
  • Analyze current business processes, workflows, and data models to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation or modernization.
  • Develop and manage business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Support solution design by working closely with architects, developers, and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder interviews to drive consensus and alignment.
  • Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new systems or enhancements.
  • Solve technical problems by identifying root causes, collaborating with engineering teams, and recommending sustainable solutions for complex issues.
  • Triage and prioritize system issues, incidents, and defects to ensure timely resolution while balancing business impact, risk, and technical constraints.
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of end-to-end workflows.
  • Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI tools, agentic platforms, and intelligent automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.
  • Deliver executive-ready presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings, options, and recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, leveraging prior consulting experience to provide insight into the industry's best practices, regulatory compliance, and technology trends.
