About The Position

Technical Business Development Manager, Beauty & Personal Care Technical Business Development Manager, Beauty & Personal Care Technical Business Development Manager, Beauty & Personal Care IMCD US currently has an opening for a Technical Business Development Manager within our Beauty & Personal Care business unit. This role will strategically accelerate new business development for supplier products and will travel both independently and alongside Account Managers to drive targeted growth at key accounts. This role will be instrumental in advancing technically complex, bioactive-driven projects and ensuring they are effectively progressing through the pipeline to close. Requirements

  • Competency, Sales Management Systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, self-motivation, and team player mentality
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Will exhibit an eagerness for contributing beyond immediate duties and getting the job done
  • Will be sufficiently mature to be able to move forward from setbacks
  • Minimum B.S. Degree in Science
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in the Beauty & Personal industry

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Science
  • Business development or technical sales certifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to completion with the collaboration of Regional Account Managers
  • Organize and lead pillar promotions including feedback from the customer to IMCD and to the principal.
  • Facilitate customer specific presentations on IMCD’s capability, trend analysis and end applications
  • Liaison with pillar principals and IMCD Principal Manager on goals and objectives, as well as specific product and market targets
  • Make product recommendations
  • Understand the pillar portfolio and do hands on work in a laboratory setting
