About The Position

Technical Business Analyst The Opportunity: Support public health analytic initiatives for government health agencies. Formulate and define systems scope and objective through research fact-finding combined with a comprehension of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Conduct qualitative analysis of existing implementations and provide thoughtful, strategic improvement recommendations. Conduct requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders using interviews, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis. Translate requirements into technical specifications. Identify gaps in processes and opportunities for improvements and automation. This position is located in Atlanta, GA.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working directly with business system users to elicit and document complete, accurate, and testable requirements
  • Experience with IT or data analytics
  • Experience in the Public Health field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Ability to document business requirements, functional requirements, and system touchpoints, including management driven requirements, reporting and dashboard requirements, and workflow requirements for business processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with programming languages, including Java or Python
  • Experience in government health agencies
  • Experience with analyzing large-scale datasets
  • Knowledge of Palantir technologies, including Foundry
