About The Position

The Technical Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring that technology initiatives are aligned with organizational goals. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, gather and translate requirements, and support the delivery of scalable, efficient systems. You will work on system integrations, data analysis, and troubleshooting while documenting workflows and assisting in user acceptance testing. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar technical role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and requirements management tools such as JIRA and SharePoint
• Hands-on experience in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Datadog is a plus
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, data flows, and backend processes
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for diverse stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Availability to work outside core business hours as needed for testing, upgrades, and production deployments

Nice To Haves

• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related credentials preferred
• Hands-on experience in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Datadog is a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications for system enhancements and integrations
• Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot issues in production and non-production environments
• Investigate application, database, and infrastructure logs to diagnose system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure proper system behavior and data flow
• Support and monitor system integrations, APIs, file-based interfaces, middleware, and ETL processes for reliable data exchange
• Perform impact analysis for proposed changes and validate system behavior during incident response and defect resolution
• Document workflows, data mappings, interface specifications, and operational procedures to support ongoing maintenance
• Assist with user acceptance testing, reproducing issues, validating fixes, and monitoring production releases
• Proactively identify recurring system issues and recommend process, configuration, or architectural improvements
