Morgan Stanley is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join its global Internal Audit Technology team. The ideal candidate should possess a technical background with experience in managing complex technology projects and interacting with multiple senior stakeholders across organizations. The candidate must also be adaptable to change and quick to grasp new concepts in a dynamic regulatory environment, leveraging questions and team expertise when facing challenges. This Business Analysis III position at the VP level is part of a job family focused on analyzing business processes, identifying needs, and establishing requirements to enhance efficiency and productivity through a blend of business acumen and analytical skills. The primary responsibility of this individual is to drive the strategic, functional, and technical agenda for an integrated Internal Audit platform, acting as a BA/PM/SM by leveraging their technical, analytical, and problem-solving background to ensure the team's successful output. Requirements

12+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst on technology projects, with the ability to lead and manage discussions with technical teams.
Strong background delivering technology initiatives from initiation through implementation, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
Experience working with senior stakeholders across both technology and business teams; able to manage expectations, drive alignment, and communicate clearly at all levels.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and document complex technology and business requirements, identify gaps, and propose pragmatic solutions.
System design/solution mindset, with the ability to partner with architects/engineers and manage stakeholders through design decisions and trade-offs.
Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum environment; able to manage multiple responsibilities across Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and Project Manager activities as needed.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross cultural teams located globally.
Willingness to take ownership and accountability to execute and deliver on goals, strong commitment to high quality standards.
Excellent time management skills, ability to efficiently prioritize and multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines and team objectives.
Proven ability to take ownership and challenge status-quo, improve process and drive results.
Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, including the ability to facilitate working sessions, manage dependencies, and drive outcomes across teams.
Web application experience, including prior involvement in building or enhancing web applications (requirements, design collaboration, testing, and release).

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Finance products or previous experience within an Investment Bank.
Application build background and relevant domain experience; hands-on familiarity with full-stack concepts (e.g., APIs, data models, SQL, and modern front-end patterns).
Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) concepts, processes, and controls.
Financial services background.
