What you'll do at Jamf: The Enterprise Applications team is responsible for all applications and data visibility about our customers. The Technical Business Analyst is an integral member of Enterprise Application, assessing the business needs and providing technical direction to our overall system needs. They help define functional requirements and technological solutions within the Enterprise Application Team at Jamf. They are responsible for understanding, prioritizing, proposing, and communicating the changes needed within our systems to serve the business needs of Jamf. The Technical Business Analyst II reviews, analyzes and evaluates users' needs to create systems solutions that support the overall business strategies. They will serve as an influence for validating and prioritizing new business requirements for systems and workflows in their purview. They are ultimately responsible for the intake process of project delivery. This role will work closely with both business partner stakeholders and solution architects to support solution review and design processes, refine, and prioritize user stories, and work with internal teams to facilitate project delivery and ultimately help Jamf achieve business goals. What you can expect to do in this role: Maintain a working knowledge of core Jamf business and assigned Enterprise systems, including but not limited to Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, and middleware integrations. Work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams, leveraging a technical understanding of existing systems and business processes. Translate business needs into technical requirements for implementation by engineering teams. Develop and own the refining and prioritizing user stories in the product backlog. Act as an initial technical point of contact to assess and triage customer-reported issues. Participate in the review and validation of system features. Partner with solution architects and technical delivery teams to support requirements refinement & design of technical solutions. Lead and be main point of contact for the intake process by reviewing and translating requirements and providing analysis on impact to overall systems and processes. Support efforts to ensure effective documentation, management, and validation of requirements from ideation to technical refinement, implementation, and testing. Mentor other TBA's; drive enforcement of standards, tools, and methodologies. Tracks progress of tasks cross functionally to see if they are on plan with committed delivery dates, identifying potential roadblocks and/or dependencies. Communicate early and often to the broader team on progress and changes to planned delivery dates and identified downstream impacts. Observe various business processes and identifies and recommends opportunities for improvement. Communicate needs and problems competently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Organize and contribute to meetings with technical, business, and operational data owners. Regularly manage competing priorities across multiple efforts at varying stages within the project lifecycle.
