Requirements

  • Associate Degree in business, management, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to understand technical systems development life cycle.
  • Familiarity with requirements development for business or technical projects preferred. Willingness to learn project management techniques, requirement analysis, and business process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence people across organizational and functional lines.
  • Ability to learn data models and data querying methods such as SQL.
  • 0-1 years of insurance industry experience.
  • 0-1 years of experience testing custom software applications.
  • 0-1 years of experience developing requirements for custom software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, information systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in project coordination and requirements gathering.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve business objectives of multiple complex projects or priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Under direct supervision, assist in supporting multiple projects and systems by performing basic troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Conduct thorough testing and provide quality assurance support for both existing and newly developed systems.
  • Monitor production system and processes proactively to identify potential issues.
  • Identify and escalate issues according to escalation processes.
  • Track and manage the status of issues using workflow and ticketing systems.
  • Support the tracking and maintenance of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in gathering, compiling and documenting user requirements to support solution development.
  • Act as a liaison between systems development teams and business users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with leaders, project sponsors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling and tracking project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Provide on-call support when necessary to support business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
