About The Position
Responsible for correctly and efficiently performing technical procedures Quality Control in one or more sections of the Clinical Laboratory; operating and maintaining instrumentation as assigned; taking steps necessary to ensure correct reports; performing clerical, phlebotomy, and analytical testing task as needed. Note: Technical Assistants work directly under the supervision of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), and all results must be verified by a CLS.
Requirements
- Licensed by the State of California Department of Health Services as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist Trainee.
Nice To Haves
- Two years Associate Degree in Science.
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
