Technical Architect (Remote from US)
About The Position
This role is focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing modern cloud-based toolchains to empower development, deployment, and operations of scalable applications. You will lead initiatives that enhance CI/CD pipelines, observability, and SDK/API workflows across Azure and AWS environments, ensuring consistency, performance, and reliability. The position requires close collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams to streamline onboarding, automate processes, and maintain secure, resilient platforms. You will also provide architectural guidance, produce clear documentation, and integrate emerging technologies to continually improve platform capabilities. Success in this role comes from delivering robust, scalable solutions that simplify operations and elevate the developer and customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical architecture, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture
- Strong skills in scripting, automation, and SDK/API development
- Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and observability platforms
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, including architecture diagrams and solution design
- Experience with SaaS platforms, large-scale data processing, or analytics environments

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end toolchains for development, deployment, and operations in Azure and AWS
- Lead initiatives to improve onboarding, self-service capabilities, and deployment efficiency
- Build resilient frameworks for rapid, safe releases and real-time monitoring
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
- Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and playbooks to support teams
- Promote cost optimization, security best practices, and automation across the platform lifecycle
- Evaluate and integrate emerging cloud and DevOps technologies to maintain a leading-edge platform
