About The Position

As a Technical Analyst, you will manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure. You will perform system analysis, infrastructure support, user access management, and hardware administration to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable IT operations across the Takeda Covington Manufacturing Operations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience with qualifications & IT technology certification such as CompTIA (A+, Network +, Security+), Peoplesoft ITIL.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and endpoint protection.
  • Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail and security awareness.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong support orientation.
  • Effective continues learning to keep up with technology advancement.
  • Office-based with occasional after-hours support.
  • May require on-call rotation.
  • Interaction with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Able to lift 50 LB of weight, use cart, normal tools to repair computers, network and IT infrastructure in general.
  • Able to work on pharmaceutical shopfloor clean room with Personal Protective Equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot IT infrastructure, system performance monitoring, access control management, and hands-on hardware troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate, Administer and maintain servers (Windows/Linux), partner with Hosting team on server management.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including network devices, storage systems, and backup solutions.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
  • Image building, deployment, troubleshooting, device interface and lab equipment interface.
  • Perform system upgrades, patch management, and routine maintenance.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
  • Analyze existing IT systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance, security, and scalability.
  • Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct system performance analysis and capacity planning.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Support IT audits and compliance activities.
  • Ad Hoc server management (such as Print servers, Data servers, Specific local application servers).
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights following the principle of least privilege.
  • Administer identity and access management (IAM) systems.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Investigate and resolve security incidents related to access control.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
  • Partner with Shopfloor tech team to develop maintenance plan for the IT assets on shopfloor.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Coordinate hardware procurement and asset lifecycle management.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Prepare system health, security, and performance reports.
  • Assist in vendor management and technical evaluations.
