About The Position

Atlantic Medical Imaging is seeking a Part time Technical Aide to assist the CT department in the Cape May Court House office location. This position is a great opportunity for candidates who are interested in starting their radiology career! Part time, 20+ hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing. Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience. The Technical Aide is responsible for, but not limited to: Prepares charts and registers patients; Takes patient history and processes paperwork; Monitors the patient in the clinical area when the technologist is elsewhere; Assists the technologist with patient care; Greeting patients and escorting patients to the changing area, providing gown instructions; Safely enters and completes work responsibilities within the MRI area; Assists patients with wheelchairs and dressing as needed; and Performs other duties as assigned. This position will provide coverage in the Cape May Court House office, with coverage assigned as needed in Egg Harbor Township and Somers Point. Candidates must be willing to travel to these office locations. The work schedule includes 8am-4:30pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

• Candidates for this position must be a High School Graduate or equivalent; some college coursework a plus
• American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and candidates must be willing to obtain within the first thirty (30) days of employment
• Candidates must be willing and able to work around CT equipment
• Candidates must be willing to travel to other office locations if needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous radiology practice experience a plus!
• The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent organizational skills, has well developed customer service skills and maintains patient privacy at all times
• Candidates must maintain attention to detail in all aspects of their work at all times and must be skilled in utilizing standard office equipment, including computers
• Candidates should be flexible to work varying shift times
