GVI, Inc. seeks Tech Writer I to provide Configuration Management and technical support on behalf of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport in Keyport, Washington.
Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) - Management of the Configuration documents, records, and data of the Torpedo and Target within CMPRO.
Create Drawing Bulletins for all new and revised drawings.
In-Service Review Board back up - Assist engineer with routing Change Documents in CMPRO.
Perform Configuration Verification and Audit to assure accuracy in deliverables.
Assign Serial Numbers and maintain Serial Number database.
Maintain confidential and secret inventory of drawings and Change Documents.
Perform historical research as required for archived records.
Review all Change Documents (ECP, NOR, RFV, DCN) in CMPRO for accuracy, communicating the results on the Poll.
Ensure drawings are formatted to current specifications and standards, communicate with ISE Engineer to clarify information and recommend changes.
Verify Associated drawing notes and part lists are accurate, communicate with ISE Engineer to clarify information and recommend changes.
Attend status meetings as required.
Create monthly status reports.
Create AdHoc reports from CMPRO as required.
Assign Action Items for NOR incorporation and creation of DCNs.
Assign NOR package Action Item to appropriate CM drafter.
QA and Prepare Technical Data Packages (TDP).
Preferred degree or experience in an Engineering Discipline or multi Engineering discipline with strong preference for document generation.
Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
