About The Position

As Talent Acquisition Manager - North America, you will lead recruitment efforts across a range of functions, depending on business needs and hiring priorities. This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will play a critical part in shaping our North American talent strategy while acting as a visible ambassador for 73 Strings’ culture in a growing regional hub. This role is hybrid working from our New York office. Due to operational and compliance requirements, we are only able to consider applicants based within North America at this time.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruitment experience, with meaningful exposure to AI, machine learning, data, or advanced analytics roles.
  • Proven success hiring engineering, data, and AI talent within B2B SaaS, FinTech, or high-growth startup environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI hiring challenges, including specialised skill sets, compensation benchmarks, and candidate assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner credibly with CTO-level and senior technical stakeholders.
  • Must have experience recruiting in Series A–C start ups/scale-ups, where priorities shift and speed matters.
  • High proficiency with ATS platforms, sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter), and recruiting analytics.
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on role while contributing strategically to hiring direction.
  • Commitment to inclusive hiring and building diverse, high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a comprehensive hiring strategy to scale 73 Strings across North America.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior and highly specialised technical roles, from intake and sourcing through to offer and close.
  • Partner closely with the CTO, engineering, data, and AI leaders to define role scope, hiring priorities, and assessment criteria.
  • Collaborate with global People & Talent colleagues to ensure consistency and scalability as the organisation grows.
  • Develop diverse and high-quality talent pipelines through sourcing, networking, and market insights.
  • Screen and assess candidates for both technical excellence and cultural fit
  • Serve as a local culture ambassador and trusted partner to North American and global hiring managers.
  • Track and optimize key TA metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and direct sourcing ratios.
  • Strengthen and standardize hiring processes while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
  • Collaborate on employer branding initiatives to increase visibility in the North American market.
