Role As a Technical Lead Manager on the Extensibility Squad, your mission is to empower software developers to access the Intrinsic platform APIs and to use Intrinsic tools to extend Flowstate. You will lead an engineering team responsible for making our platform software more readily available for external users, and have a large stake in efforts to work closer to ROS and other open-source ecosystems. We expect this role to be a mix of technical leadership, individual contribution, and people management. You will set technical direction, mentor your team, and work hands-on with an SDK that involves a lot of C++, Python, and Protobuf, alongside a growing TypeScript codebase. How your work moves the mission forward Empower software developers to access the Intrinsic platform APIs and to use Intrinsic tools to extend Flowstate. Lead the team in making our platform software more readily available and accessible for external users. Drive technical efforts to work closer to ROS and integrate deeply with other open-source ecosystems. Mentor engineers to foster technical growth while acting as a hands-on individual contributor.

Requirements

Experience leading a team of software engineers.
Advanced proficiency programming in at least one of C++, Python, or Go.
Proficiency programming in at least two programming languages.
Extensive experience with Protobuf.
Experience contributing to or managing projects within open-source ecosystems.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing and maintaining a TypeScript codebase.
Familiarity with ROS or other robotics software.
Experience extending and maintaining Bazel infrastructure.
