Performs regular and scheduled maintenance on hydraulic fracturing equipment to ensure it remains in good working order. Conducts repairs on equipment as needed in the field using hand and power tools. Installs and configures electronic and electromechanical equipment and instrumentation. Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical, and electronic components. Travels to locations to perform emergency repairs on electronics and equipment. Diagnoses electrical problems and troubleshoots using wiring schematics, repair manuals, and part catalogs. Inspects, operates, and tests equipment and components to diagnose malfunctions. Tests equipment at the manufacturer’s facility to ensure it meets company standards before field deployment. Documents repairs, inspections, and testing for all equipment. Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all QHSE requirements at all times. Mentors and trains less experienced Electronic Technicians. Performs other related duties as requested. The Field Electronic Technician 1 plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of electronic and hydraulic fracturing equipment. This position requires technical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
