Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ Years of experience in manufacturing, machine operations, quality or other mechanical/ technical area of work

Nice To Haves

  • 5 Years of experience in quality/aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • 2 year technical degree or certificate program preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and quality procedures.
  • Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings.
  • Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive-in and inspect non-product items for accuracy.
  • Comply with all training required, including warehouse procedures in receiving, receive-in inspection and materials handling procedures.
  • Work with the materials organization to troubleshoot materials issues.
  • Maintain warehouse locations to ensure parts accuracy and accountability.
  • Maintain warehouse inventory system for accurate up to date information.
  • Assist with resolution of obsolete material.
  • Assign in-coming non-product items to the appropriate warehouse location to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Communicate with suppliers for on-time delivery of material for planned and emergency repairs of equipment.
  • Create requisitions for PO’s to obtain necessary MRO supplies.
  • Maintain various reports included but not limited to: stock-outs, overdue vendor, price variance.
  • Work standard Material Requirement Planning (MRP) reports.
  • Engage in inventory optimization to allow success of production goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings.
  • Identify critical use items.
  • Identify, recommend, locate and obtain items that should be stocked in crib as spare parts.
  • Maintain clear communication lines between warehouse and end-user regarding inventory.
  • Monitor vendors that support internal maintenance.
  • Perform and assist in warehouse logistics.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, complete all required training and supporting all applicable committee activities.
  • Ability to prioritize and utilize time efficiently with minimal direction.
