About The Position

1st Shift Hormel Foods Team Leader (Jennie-O Melrose, MN Plant) To save time applying, Hormel Foods does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas for this position at this time. Responsibilities : Leads team members by managing and executing plant processes. Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals. Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met. Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve business results. Team Leaders are usually "on their feet" in the production area about 80% of the shift.

Requirements

  • 1+ year as a shift lead, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc. OR Associates Degree.
  • Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Benefits

  • At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $60,000-$70,000 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
