About The Position

The individual in this position is responsible for acting as the group leader for responsible area(s) of one or more of the following key warehouse functional teams: Order/Conveyor Processing Team, Outbound Dock Team, and/or Manufacturing Support Team.

Requirements

  • Prior warehouse experience required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and with MS software required
  • Experience with JDE software and processes required
  • Knowledge of all standard warehouse practices using RF Scanners and processes required
  • Basic writing and math skills required
  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Able to be trained and certified to operate PIT equipment: pallet jacks, fork trucks, reach trucks and turret stock picker (TSP). TSP equipment weighs approximately 18,000 pounds
  • Ability to pull, push climb, balance, stoop, knee, crouch and reach with arms
  • Must be able to walk frequently

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory skills and/or prior leadership skills are helpful but not required
  • Some college education preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • To provide support, guidance, and leadership within the Order Processing Team to maintain consistent level of internal support and assure accurate, safe and efficient fulfillment of all sales order requests.
  • To provide support, guidance, and leadership within the Outbound Dock Team to maintain consistent level of internal support to assure accurate, safe and efficient shipment of all outbound shipments to Wholesale and Retail customers.
  • To provide support, guidance, and leadership within the Manufacturing Support Team to maintain consistent level of internal support to assure accurate, safe and efficient fulfillment of all manufacturing requests.
  • To ensure that all policies and procedures are upheld to ensure accurate, safe and efficient operation within the warehouse environment.
  • Maintain accurate machine logs to identify efficiencies, trends, benchmark problems, issues and resolutions.
  • Communicate consistent issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Attend daily and weekly technical meetings to report and discuss productivity and safety issues, participate in identifying resolutions to problems and making recommendations to management.
