We focus on creating healthy high-quality foods from our highly maintained and enriched soils on our small-scale family farms. LFFC serves all of Eastern Pennsylvania, New York City, and most of the tri-state area by connecting the farmer and customer, delivering the best local organic produce, value-added products, and humanely raised and pastured animal products to retail establishments, co-ops, restaurants, and institutions. Position Summary - The purpose of this job is to pack and prepare orders with minimal error for customer order. This is a first shift position typically part time (25 hours or less). What you'll be doing - Supports daily maintenance needs in the warehouse and break room. Tending to trash and ensuring clean dock areas. Box making when necessary. Packing and preparing any necessary farmer products (boxes, labels, ties, etc) Inventorying non-produce items and other categories as directed. Receiving day time deliveries. Ability to but not required drive both forklift and electric pallet jack. Certification tests required. Must be able to lift 60 + lbs. Warehouse experience preferred. Ability to work in a refrigerated (35 - 50) and wet environment for extended periods of time. Ability to be detailed oriented and have strong attention to detail. Strong organizational skills Willingness to work well with others. Strong verbal communication skills Reliable and punctual. Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 + lbs.
Ability to work in a refrigerated (35 - 50) and wet environment for extended periods of time.

High School education or GED preferred, but not required.
Ability to move quickly and ability to follow directions.
Regular, predictable attendance

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to stand /walk for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach above and below shoulders.
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, pushing, pulling, and handling various materials frequently during a shift.
Must be comfortable with various noise levels.
Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of products.
Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing orders; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of RF scanners; using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes
