You’ll learn about a variety of Finished Good processes, expanding your existing knowledge for application into the business of making sausage. There is unlimited opportunity for growth as you become an active contributor to the Patty Line departments and assist your team in the quest for continual improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a member of the Brat/Patty line
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year leadership experience
  • Demonstrated communication and listening skills and ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to lead others in a respectful manner that motivates the Team to strive for success.
  • Ability to lead by example and also involve others in the decision making process (team player.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible by adjusting priorities.
  • Ability to innovate.
  • The ability to rotate shifts and lines may be required.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the country where this job is located, without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional food manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead the day to day operation of either the Patty line in the areas of safety, quality and performance.
  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs and efforts of production team members required for the current production processes and integrate quality and safety training standards
  • Daily scheduling and effective resource allocation
  • Effectively manage member relations with the team and co-workers
  • Effectively conduct team meetings
  • Complete daily performance reports and shift paperwork
  • Effectively communicate information to members
  • Effectively communicate information to coaches and coordinators
  • Be able to create and promote a team environment, manage conflict, and resolve current issues
  • Efficiently manage all aspects of safety on the line; address issues with safety immediately, and be a safety champion
  • Successfully utilize our SAP business management system to complete federally mandated paperwork and close out production paperwork for the day
