We are seeking a Team Leader III - Certified for our First Quality Retail Services facility located in Lewistown. This position will be responsible for assist with leading a production shift and promote teamwork to ensure safety, quality, customer service, production, housekeeping and record keeping standards are maintained at all times. Must possess a sense of ownership/responsibility and the ability to influence changes.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to complete Lead Operator I, II, and III criteria in a pre-determined time period.
  • Extensive knowledge of technical processes, materials, and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • One to two years of trade school or college preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
  • Follows necessary GMP and ISO regulations/guidelines.
  • Maintains quality standards for the product being produced.
  • Keeps the machine and surrounding areas clean at all times.
  • Operates machines competently and productively.
  • Fill in for Lead Operator, Process Specialist, or Supervisor as needed.
  • Troubleshoots problems and performs minor adjustments to the machine.
  • Properly trains Machine Operators, new Lead Operators, and other employees as required.
  • Performs quality checks as required.
  • Examines defects and scrap causes and whenever possible take appropriate corrective action; analyze and record production delays on downtime report.
  • Works closely with the Supervisor on their shift to ensure all reporting, attendance, and other duties are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assists maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Properly completes all necessary paperwork.
  • Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
  • Manages line through team approach principals and developing effective, self-sustaining work teams.
