About The Position

Lead Team Members in assigned area in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet manufacturing and quality goals.Essential Functions:  Lead Team Members in assigned area of plant operations. Administer and monitor practices in the areas of safety, human relations, quality, cost, housekeeping, and delivery targets for a production area. Collaborate with Team Members and assigned Group Leader to coordinate production flow. Attend all required training as assigned. Support Team Member compliance with HMMA policies and procedures. Perform administrative tasks as required. Maintain sound ergonomic judgment while maintaining job rotation schedules. Build and maintain good working relationships with Team Members. Interact with others to resolve quality issues; implement repair/containment procedures for repetitive quality defects; notify management and/or affectedteams or departments in a timely manner as required. Position requires the ability to work overtime in excess of 40 hours per week. Position requires job rotation between different positions and shifts. Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety ManagementSystem (SMS) requirements. Team Member may be required to handle hazardous wastes which may include identifying, inspecting, packaging, labelling,and moving waste in compliance with RCRA regulations. Relevant training will be provided if assigned these job duties. Meet all other requirements as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School/GED
  • 1 – 3 years job related experience

Nice To Haves

  • 2 year Technical degree preferred
