About The Position

The Third Shift Team Lead in the Food Processing Industry at City Wide Facility Solutions is responsible for overseeing operations during the late-night hours, ensuring quality service, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within processing facilities. This role will require a proactive approach to managing processes, leading a team, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Requirements

  • Bilingual is preferred but not mandatory. High school diploma required, degree in management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role within the food processing or sanitation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and cleaning protocols in a food processing environment.
  • Superior leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with industry-related software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage team members during third shift operations to ensure effective workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Oversee food processing sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning protocols and equipment used in food processing environments.
  • Train and develop staff on best practices in food safety, hygiene, and cleaning procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients and upper management to resolve any immediate operational issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback and support to enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and inspections, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Prepare for compliance audits and work closely with Quality Assurance teams to uphold standards.
  • Ensure all team members are equipped with appropriate tools and safety equipment for their tasks.
  • Provide assistance in scheduling and managing shifts for cleaning staff to meet operational needs.
  • Implement technology solutions to optimize cleaning processes and improve efficiency.
