Description: Provides functional leadership of pharmacy technicians under the direction of pharmacy management as it relates to daily staff and pharmacy operations, as well as, performs all applicable duties of a Pharmacy Technician III. This position may also be responsible for coordinating scheduling, training and assisting the supervisor/manager in the application of corporate, hospital, and pharmacy policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Requires Indiana Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Requires Pharmacy Technician National Certification.
  • Requires the absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs.
  • Requires strong mathematical calculation skills.
  • Requires full proficiency as a pharmacy technician in assigned areas and ability to work within established procedures under limited supervision.
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires strong customer service skills.
  • Requires intermediate proficiency typing and using Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
