The Patient Access ED Reg Team Lead serves as the primary resource to team members for training and education. Educational services include the development, coordination, and/or instruction of educational programs designed to meet the needs of the staff, which are in accordance with the goals and objectives of the department and organization. The ED Reg Team Lead is responsible for conducting Epic ED Reg end user classroom and elbow-to-elbow training, under the direction of the ED Reg and Admitting Manager. The Team Lead will work closely with the department manager to design and develop the Training and Quality Assurance program. The Team Lead is responsible for the set-up of the training schedule, including inventory and distribution of supplies. They are responsible for quality control, including administering a proficiency assessment and class evaluation at the end of each session, and forwarding ideas to improve the effectiveness of the training to the department manager.
