About The Position

Position is responsible for leading team efforts on department specific collection within a payor. Assists staff with resolving department specific issues. Identifies and resolves department and payor trends.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Insurance Or Collection (2 Years)
  • ICD 9 and CPT Coding, ICD-9-CM

Responsibilities

  • Assists staff with daily operational problems or backlog.
  • Assists manager or supervisor with special projects.
  • Identifies trends with department/payor.
  • Resolves invoices within team that requires special attention.
  • Motivates staff/promotes team effort and department goals.
