Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Information Services organization in the role of Team Lead – Information Services. We are seeking a hands‑on technical leader who will oversee day‑to‑day operations for a small team supporting laboratory information systems and laboratory equipment applications, including Roche, Sysmex, and Data Innovations. This role combines people leadership, technical expertise, and light project management to ensure high‑quality support, timely issue resolution, and strong collaboration with clinical, technical, and vendor partners. The Team Lead – Information Services is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of a team that supports laboratory applications and equipment platforms used in clinical environments. This role serves as an escalation point for analysts, ensures work quality and accuracy, and partners with vendors to support reliable, efficient laboratory operations. The position also functions as a project manager, helping juggle a large portfolio of concurrent work (often 80–100 projects at varying stages) while maintaining service quality and team engagement. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience.
  • Requires knowledge in business or clinical applications and supporting technology.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day team operations supporting laboratory information systems and equipment applications (e.g., Roche, Sysmex, Data Innovations).
  • Provide guidance, troubleshooting support, and mentorship to analysts; serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues.
  • Assign work, balance workload, and review deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
  • Coach and develop team members, supporting skill growth and performance improvement.
  • Apply hands‑on expertise to support laboratory applications and medical device integrations.
  • Partner with clinical users and technical teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
  • Maintain awareness of system functionality, upgrades, and operational needs across supported platforms.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members to ensure they remain current on applications, workflows, and tools.
  • Share best practices, lessons learned, and process improvements across the team.
