About The Position

Gemini is looking for a motivated and dependable Plant Team Lead I or Plant Team Lead II to support daily building operations, provide leadership to team members, and help drive productivity, quality, and safety. The position level will be determined based on the candidate’s demonstrated skills, experience, and leadership capability. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a hands-on environment while guiding others, solving problems, and supporting continuous improvement. PURPOSE STATEMENT To support the goals and vision of Gemini, Inc. through leading and optimizing daily production activities to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role involves coordinating staffing and scheduling, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing corrective actions to maintain optimal performance. The Team Lead will cultivate leadership within the team, foster a collaborative environment, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. By effectively communicating across departments and making informed decisions, the Team Lead contributes to the overall success and profitability of the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in leading and facilitating team meetings, providing updates, and fostering collaboration.
  • Experience leading projects intended to engage and empower team members.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 or more years’ experience in production environment preferred.
  • Technical understanding of processes in the scope of the lead position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Daily Operations: Oversee daily production requirements, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost, in collaboration with other leads and supervisors.
  • Supportive Staffing & Scheduling Coordination: Collaborate with team members to assist in coordinating staffing needs, managing schedules, and determining overtime requirements.
  • Monitor Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
