Requirements

Ability to read blueprints.
Mechanical aptitude.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems.
Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.
Lead and/or supervisorial experience or the willingness to obtain via training or coursework.
Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

Work alongside teammates to perform Conveyor assemblies in a product line.
Maintain rotation of tasks within the department and participate in daily Gemba board discussions.
Partner with the Supervisor and Production Manager and individual cells to meet on time delivery goals.
Act as primary trainer for new employees within the department.
Identify areas for improvement and training needed for individuals within the department.
Work closely with engineering.
Establish daily and weekly 5S schedule for all team members to participate in as required.
Work in a safe manner to keep you and your team incident free.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
