The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring that modifications work orders (MWO) are successfully applied to aircraft safely and efficiently. Responsible for a team of two Airframe Sheet Metal Technicians and two Avionic / Electrical Technicians. Responsible for CDI authority of installed MWO’s. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversight of assembles, and installation of modification kits for UH-60 aircraft. Interpret military technical manuals, technical orders, modification work orders and blue prints Coordinates with Project Lead for scheduling, execution and installation of required MWOs. Coordinate with the Project Lead and Project Assistant travel, lodging accommodations trip planning. Work with various thickness of aluminum, steel alloys, stainless steel, copper, brass and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals in the fabrication of production metal parts for aircraft modifications Supervise sheet metal, avionic, and electrical modifications as prescribed in the applicable MWO. Maintain accountability of personnel on your team. Coordinate actions and requirements of team members with the Project Lead and Program Manager AIMS. Required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the scheduled MWOs and team requirements.
