About The Position

The purpose of this position to ensure proper supervision due to the Mod Shop workload.

Requirements

• Must hold a high school diploma or G.E.D
• Must have an A&P or P license.
• Must have a valid U.S driver s license.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical data/manuals
• Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Responsibilities

• Working with assigned crew to ensure projects achieve quality work on time and budget.
• Ensuring company and FAA procedures are being followed.
• Ensuring that productivity and budgets are satisfactory.
• Monitoring personnel for attendance and performing evaluations of crewmembers.
• Keeping a safe, clean workplace at all times. Recommending improvements needed to increase performance, quality, etc., to the Supervisors.
• Reporting any problems affecting projects to the Supervisors.
• Ensuring that personnel are following instructions and performing tasks in a safe, efficient manner.
• Ensuring that waste materials, oils, fluids, etc., are handled correctly
• Performing other duties as required/requested by the Supervisor.
