About The Position

Meta's Small and Medium Business Group contributes to Meta's mission by connecting every small business in the world with their customers through our family of apps, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger. We deliver world-class, data-driven business solutions to advertisers by providing the highest level of service accompanied by strategic guidance. We are seeking a results-driven Manager to join Meta’s Mid-Market Business Group, leading a sales team focused on growing advertising revenue and driving product adoption. In this pivotal role, you will motivate, coach, and develop a team to deliver exceptional client experiences, consistently achieve sales quotas and key performance indicators, and foster a supportive, client-centric environment. Leveraging AI-powered insights, automation, and advanced data-driven strategies, you will identify new opportunities, optimize sales processes, and ensure operational efficiency through effective pipeline management. You will build strategic relationships with C-level clients, collaborate across teams, and communicate market needs and performance to leadership, all while promoting accountability, adaptability, and a high-performance sales environment within your team. You will stay ahead of vertical and product trends, using creative thinking and cross-functional expertise to develop scalable solutions. You will identify well informed sales strategies and drive clarity, focus, and accountability in an ambiguous environment. Supporting Account Managers, you will build relationships with key partners both internally and externally. Clear communication of business goals and informed decision-making will drive impactful outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ Years of Marketing and Sales Experience
  • 3+ years leading, coaching, or mentoring sales teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology or similar field
  • Proven sales performance: Experience achieving sales targets, drive product adoption, and meet operational metrics by defining and executing effective sales strategies
  • Adaptability: Demonstrates agility in adapting to changing priorities, processes, and technologies. Proactively leads teams through periods of change by communicating clearly, adjusting plans as needed, and ensuring continued alignment with business objectives
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with a range of stakeholders, including internal cross-functional teams, external partners, agencies, and clients, to drive shared business objectives and foster working relationships
  • Digital marketing knowledge: Possess industry knowledge and experience across full funnel marketing campaigns

Nice To Haves

  • Proven technical skills (Proficiency in CRM software , Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.)
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, or certifications in account management, project management
  • Familiarity with Meta’s platforms, digital marketing tools, and CRM systems
  • Understanding and experience of Meta’s full suite of advertising solutions

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute market plans using Meta’s AI tools to deliver tailored solutions for mid-sized accounts across industries, ensuring the team consistently exceeds high-volume quotas
  • Pipeline Management & Operational Efficiency: Drive effective pipeline management by ensuring progression of key revenue opportunities and successful deal execution using Meta’s advanced sales strategies and AI tools
  • Product Adoption: Drive client adoption of Meta’s AI solutions to deliver measurable business results, and use AI to automate insights, personalize outreach, and optimize sales processes for greater impact
  • Client Relationships: Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts by building and developing strategic relationships with C-level clients at our largest customers. Gain an understanding of their business priorities and partner with them through consultative sales
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, develop, and coach a sales team, fostering a people-first environment aligned with Meta’s values. Set clear objectives, measurable milestones, and provide regular feedback to drive execution via accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement for individual and team growth
  • Communication & Influence: Proactively identify and communicate market feedback and product needs across the organization and with cross-functional partners, lead sales operational efficiency to support revenue and product adoption, and provide regular sales and market performance reports to leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement
  • Continuous Learning: Encourages an environment of flexibility and continuous learning to help the team navigate evolving business needs and technological advancements
  • Operational efficiency: Drive efficiency by defining metrics, by taking ownership of results, outcomes, and mistakes, focusing on delivering high-quality results
